Closing your account

What happens after the last payment, what we keep because the law says so, what stops, and what you can take with you. There is no offer at the bottom of this page.

The steps

From the last payment to the end

  1. The balance reaches zero

Either on the last scheduled payment or on a payoff figure you asked for. If you pay off early, you won’t pay a penalty.

  2. The lien is released

The lienholder has a statutory window to discharge the lien once the payoff is tendered. The title page shows the clock, the evidence, and who to complain to if it runs over.

  3. Your account stays open, read-only

Every document ever signed, sent or issued stays downloadable. Nothing new can be started from it, and nothing on it tries to sell you anything.

  4. The records age out on the statutory schedule

What we keep and for how long is set by law, not by us, and it is published category by category on the security page.

Required disclosure:

Paying early

There is no prepayment penalty.

The lien-release clock, and who to complain to if it runs over, is on the title and lien page.

Your data

What we keep, and for how long

By category, read from the same register the security page renders. Nothing here is typed twice.

Retention by category

Why each category exists and who else sees it is on the security page.

What you can do

Stop all contact, and take your file with you

Stop all contact

Every kind of message has its own switch in your notification settings, and the unsubscribe page works without logging in. What continues is only what the law requires, and it says so on that page.

The last thing

What we will not do at the end

  • We will not pitch you a new agreement at the moment you finish this one.

Rolling one agreement into the next is the dynamic this product is known for and the one we refuse. If you ever want to apply again, the application is where it always was.

  • Finishing well does not buy you a different rate.

There is no ladder and no loyalty tier. The published schedule is the schedule, for a first agreement and a fifth.

  • A closed account does not become a marketing lead.

The only messages a closed account gets are the ones the law requires — a tax form, a notice about your data. Everything else is off unless you turn it on.

That is the whole of it. Thank you for reading the long version, and for finishing.

Fee structure
An arranging fee for each month the agreement runs, charged by Dollar Loans LLC, plus interest for the whole term, charged by S2 Funding LLC, both worked out on the amount advanced. Each is shown in dollars before you sign.
Annual percentage rate
The annual percentage rate counts our fee and S2 Funding LLC's interest as one yearly figure, worked out by the actuarial method Regulation Z sets out. Until our way of calculating it has been checked, this site prints the dollar figures and leaves the rate out. S2 Funding LLC's interest on its own is not the cost of this agreement.
Your right to cancel
You may cancel by midnight of the third calendar day after you sign, at no cost. You return the amount advanced and owe nothing further.
Paying early
There is no prepayment penalty.

$2,000 to $50,000. The amount depends on the vehicle and your application. Full fee schedule at /occc. These disclosures are effective September 14, 2026.
